What We're About

How’s it going? I’m Kyle, the creator of this wonderful website.

I created this website with a simple goal: to help people find new shows to watch. I love anime. I watch anime almost every day. Often, I would find myself struggling to find a new show to watch, which is especially difficult after you finish a great one. So I thought, why not have a website that helps people find new shows? Thus, this site was born through my mutual love of anime and web design.

I would just like to say thank you for using RandomAnime.org. I appreciate your visit, and hope you come back to visit again.

Why do things keep changing?

I'm a recent college grad, so I still have a lot to learn. As my knowledge of web design grows, I implement that into this website. I am constantly looking for a better way to do things. Sometimes a new idea fails, but it could also succeed, that chance of success is exactly why I try. I'd rather fail a hundred times to make one thing outstanding, than to not fail at all and just be average.

Why are there ads?

As you may know, a website costs money. I've placed a couple of banner ads in order to cover the cost of my server, and that's it. Anything left over after the bill is paid gets re-invested into the site. Believe me, the designer in me dies a little bit every time I see one of those ugly ads.

Third Party Websites

There are a few sites out there that I have to rely on in order to help you not only find a show to watch, but also find a place to watch it. Where this is most prominent at is on the anime landing pages, where I suggest websites where you can watch the given anime at. I want to make sure that you make the right choice on where to watch the show; therefore, the following is a detailed analysis of each streaming website I suggest as well as their pros and cons.

About Netflix

Netflix

The popular streaming giant is well-known around the world. Unfortunately, anime shows aren’t high on their priority list and they don’t add popular titles very quickly, either.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Usually Good Quality
  • Safe / Ad Free

Cons

  • Requires Membership
  • Limited Selection
About Hulu

Hulu

Where there is Netflix, there is usually Hulu. Hulu is a little bit more friendlier when it comes to anime shows, which is nice, but it comes at the price of a membership and advertisements.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Usually Good Quality
  • Good Selection
  • Safe / Secure

Cons

  • Requires Membership
  • Ads before / during show
About Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll

The hotbed of legal streaming anime, Crunchyroll is the go to choice for many anime watchers. It's nice to know that it is perfectly legal, and for a small membership fee you can say goodbye to any and all advertisements.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Usually Good Quality
  • GREAT Selection
  • Safe / Secure

Cons

  • Membership (For an ad-free experience)
About GoGoAnime

GoGoAnime

If you are trying to find an anime show that isn't anywhere, chances are it's on GoGoAnime. They have everything, just be sure to bring your ad blocker and don't touch anything suspicious.

Pros

  • No charge
  • BEST Selection
  • Usually Reliable

Cons

  • Ads EVERYWHERE!
About AnimeShow

AnimeShow

AnimeShow is a great website to go to if you want to watch a newer show for free. They don't generally hold onto older shows, but almost always have the newest shows. Just beware of advertisements.

  • Usually Reliable

Cons

  • Good amount of ads
  • Smaller Selection
